Need help with shifting into last 2 gears issue!

Manual shifting with clutch into 5 and sometimes 6th gear i have to lift up on shifter 2x so it can actually shift up a gear. The shifter sometimes stays between gears and i have to upshift twice to get it to shift once. Just got it yesterday. 2015 CTX 700 17k miles.
Any help appreciated.
