    So, where is everybody?

In politics, a red flag is a symbol of Socialism, or Communism, or sometimes left-wing politics in general according to WIKI so I call it the new red green deal. Also there was a show called the “Red Green Show” the Canadian version of “ Home Improvement”. Red Green would use duct tape to fix...

    So, where is everybody?

As usual my timing is terrible. I put a $9,000 roof on last Feb and just had $13,000 worth of new windows installed that I contracted to have done last November. Now I hear that the Gov. under the new red green deal is going to redo every building in the US. to be more efficient so that if I...

    Hello

Welcome! I have an N model DCT with a Madstad windshield. Its ok but I am still trying to figure out how to get more wind protection out of it. It does have a nice mounting system that allows you to mount a GPS , cell phone and USB charging ports or whatever else you would like to it. I also...

Front and Rear Turn signal pod?

Yes, turn signals and also 4 way flashers only. When I look through the rear lens, the bulb appears to have only one filament. Also when you look at the parts and compare the front and back bulbs they have two different part numbers and prices...

    Hand grips

I covered mine with a set of Grab On Grip Covers and really like them. The OEM grips were a little too skinny for me and the covers increase the diameter of the grip. Another brand is Grip Puppies and appear to be the same thing.

Announcing the new Madstad Pad (stand) enlarger

Without the shoe I have 7.5 degree lean and with the shoe I have 6 degrees. So it does stand the bike up slightly but it is less than the kickstand pad I have been using with no problem and I don't have to go back and retrieve it because I forgot to pick it up when I left. This measurement is...

iOS and android Bluetooth battery monitoring

I think they moved it to a new location on Amazon. It claims “Ultra-low power consumption, average current: 1.0 mA” and also “Alert users if charge is low” Since it is hooked directly to the battery it is on all of the time...

    New steed...

Beautiful bike, great color choice. Like the old saying goes “ Use the right tool for the right job” and that is the right tool for the type of riding you all do. Better wind protection, suspension and oh yah double the horsepower and torque of the CTX. The contrast between riding the two bikes...

    new rider here

Welcome! Curious as to why you traded the PC 800. I thought it was a beautifully designed bike. Shaft drive , hydraulic tappets, huge easy access storage area and permanent plastic rain coat. Kind of like a mini Gold Wing or what many who own the CTX are trying to turn theirs into. I almost...

    2014 Honda NC700X - DCT Failure at 6,300 miles...

Hope they nailed it this time. All of this grief over something so simple. On page 12-24 of the service manual there seems to be only one easy test for the motor itself. You would think they would have ruled this out before replacing the more expensive parts chasing it down. Thanks for posting...

    2014 Honda NC700X - DCT Failure at 6,300 miles...

Nice looking bike. Imagine if you had a $30,000 dollar 2018 Gold Wing DCT with your issues sitting in your garage nearing the end of the riding season. I have been following your thread on the NC forum and find it very informative. I hope they agree to your terms and take the bike in for a final...

    2014 Honda NC700X - DCT Failure at 6,300 miles...

I cant believe the Honda rep had the nerve to suggest you try to get Coleman to take the bike in on a trade for a new one .The bike has a simple problem that can easily be solved by a qualified technician. I would be so embarrassed from them laughing so hard at the suggestion on taking it in on...

    2014 Honda NC700X - DCT Failure at 6,300 miles...

Sorry to hear of your problems. I have a DCT with 7000 mi with no issues. After reading your thread it appears that the Tech has no diagnostic skills and is just a poke and hope parts re-placer. Honda probably wont pay the shops warranty claims because they did not follow the proper protocol to...

    Kick stand mod

I carry one of those cheap plastic bases in the gas cap area when I park on gravel but your bike seems to lean quite a bit compared to mine. Possibly it is the view from the camera. As it sits in the garage I think the lean is just right to keep it from being blown over. I took a pic and it is...

    Corbin Seat

For anyone considering the Corbin standard seat with back rest this is what worked for me @ 5’11’’ 32’’ inseam. To be able to use the back rest and not be hunched over to reach the bars I added a set of Rox Risers laid all the way back under the Madstad windshield bracket to get the max 2’’pull...

    Tire Pressure Monitor

Thanks for the heads up on the rubber seals. I haven’t had to remove them and add air since I installed them in January. I may consider using a Q Tip and swabbing them with RU-GLYDE rubber lube the next time I take them off to add air.

    Tire Pressure Monitor

Still going strong. Have never charged it but it goes to sleep after it senses no movement so it doesn't use a lot of power. I am sure it still works because the pressures increase and decrease every time I take it out for a ride. It is nice to jump on the bike and know the tires are at the...
