I am both. My preference to be a lone wolf is nearly 60% and 40% as a group. I can only demarcate on time alone. So, if you were to ask where my heart was - I honestly wouldn't have an answer.
Trellum,
I am not a girl ( :) ) to start with and I know that this concern is true for all. If you have people in your life who are really concerned about you, then they would be worried. But then it is usually a matter of time before they get used to your new likes and dislikes.
So, don't...
I think it was a combination of my Dad and uncles. The very first vehicle in which I rode was a bike with my Dad. Maybe that is how I got interested. :)
I think it is a matter of preference. Some like to do in a automatic while few others like me hate an automatic. There is no scientific reason for the hatred, other than the fact that I am absolutely comfortable riding a manual. So, that logic applies to the others as well.
Of course yes!! A loud yes!! In fact the first video game I played was the NFS 3.. .I love the NFS series and somehow racing a car in a game is an interesting thing for me!
Trellum,
Your example of exasperation and surprise is a way of life for people in Asia. Riding a bike with family is a normal occurrence here, though the risks are known. In fact, take a look at this one:

I think you should go by what you like, especially now that your Husband's the one who suggested it.. Just for the record last week I spotted a pink colored 883 near my place. Whoever thought that the Harleys were for the big dudes.. :)

Great video!! I know only one thing when it comes to rains. Ride slow, look for puddles and avoid them, No fast maneuvers and no fast movement at turns.
Thanks anyways!
Pinkdrizzly,
I have done both. I ride with a jacket and without too. In fact, I wear the jacket if I am taking the bike to work, else it is without the jacket for most part. I honestly, enjoy without the jacket considering the humid condition I have here in my home town.
Hello clay,
Black is my favorite color. However, I have one bike in black color and another won in blue. Somehow, I have grown to like blue as well. So, to answer you black and blue would be the answer. :) Could not avoid the pun on the "Black and Blue" part.. :)
Hello Hondazoom,
I must admit I am much like you. For me the looks come first and then the make and manufacturer. So, from that perspective Honda is a reliable brand to plonk your money into.
Hey Jonny,
The argument can be taken both ways. I mean there are equally performing and costlier bikes out there too, so my take would be to compare performance and other aspects and then make a decision rather than going by the paper stats.
Daboo,
From what I read (which was rather amusing) I must say that the bike is good but for the wet crotch we guys may end up having during the monsoons... :) .... Okay get your point... :)
Trellum,
The single most defining thing is the looks according to me and the second best part is the reliability of a Honda product. I have to apologize though, since I do not own a Honda CTX yet, much like yourself.
Hey Jonny,
That would not be limited to the age alone. Of course, the elders may have their own preferences but the fact is that even among our own friends of the same age group, there may be quite a bit of diverse choices. I mean, I love the Honda CTX, however one friend of mine wouldn't give...
Hey Jonny,
I am not sure if the accessories make or break a bike buying decision. It is more to do with the engine, performance and the manufacturer's reliability. I mean how many people will be thinking of the accessories while buying a Harley?
So, by the same logic, all these accessories are...
Hey andrew172
The CTX indeed has a pleasant engine rumble. Here take a look at the review of the 2014 CTX:

Dieselfit,
There are some challenges with used ones, which is the way it was used by the previous user. So, it depends on how well he or she had maintained it. In case of a new one there at least is a warranty period for your vehicle.
All said and done there is a chance that you end up finding...
Hey MegaZero,
That purely depends on your usage. However, Honda engines and vehicles are ones which stand the test of time. In fact most Japanese vehicles are such. So, durability will not be an issue however, your choice of usage will be. It definitely is not a dirt bike. So, be careful.
