I'm totally with you, white is just kind of.. awkward. I saw a white bike whizzing past me when I was driving once and it just didn't look good at all.

It can be pretty uncomfortable, painful even to ride in the ice cold, and it's especially dangerous when there's ice on the road. But the cold air pounding against you is enough to put me off.

I couldn't agree more! Though I will say that I went off road one time and my bike got quite messy, and when I came to clean it after, I was half an hour trying to get dirt out of somewhat hard to reach places, not a problem if you like the rugged look, but I just didn't want it to mess up with...

Great advice! You can never be too careful on the roads. Especially when riding a motorcycle. WE really are in such danger when we're out there- even if we're great riders- because so many people on the road are bad drivers, you can't account for them.

Luckily I have never fallen off my bike either! I hope I never do! It's quite scary to think that one day I might! I don't know what I'd be more afraid of, a bruise/scrape or a bad scratching on my CTX!

That's pretty expensive, I know a few people who change their licence plate so that it displays your name, but it works out so much cheaper to just change your name to whatever your license plate is!

Yeah totally, It's a bike that's designed for roads, if you wanna go off-terrain then there a special bikes made for that kind of thing.

Yeah, that's a good point, while red is okay, it's a weird color to see drive past on a bike. Still, a surprising amount of people like it.

Same, I have no one to ride with. Don't get me wrong, it's totally a bunch of fun, riding alone on the open road, but it would be kinda cool to have someone that you can stop with and get some lunch to talk about the ride.

As far as gas prices go, the USA has some of the cheapest gas prices in the world, I've driven a car in both the UK and US, in the US it cost 60 bucks to fill up the tank but in the UK it cost the equivalent of 120, for similar type car.

It's funny.. while I was moderately young when I first rode a bike, I wouldn't let my children ride on till they were at least 35 :p
