People do give me some odd looks when I stop somewhere but I just give them a big smile and a wave and keep walking! Its getting more and more common for women to be riding bikes; I don't mind the looks, I find them kind of funny!

I like it, I find its a good bike for a beginning rider which I was when I first got the bike. After this summer I am going to look around and see if I can find something that I want to upgrade to. I may or may not switch; I do like the bike but it may be time for me to try something else.

I can't ride it in the winter where I live, its too cold and messy. However, once it warms up I hit the road and take at least one overnight trip on it each week. I don't ride it everyday - its not practical - but I do ride whenever I can.

I have to work on Sundays so I have to go for my Sunday spin on another day during the week. During the warmer months I try and take at least one longer overnight trip on my bike. Winters can be long where I live so I try to get as much enjoyment out of my bike as I can while its warm.

I'm an owner; I love having the bike and riding it but its not the only thing that I have going on in my life. Its a hobby and its a hobby that I really love. I can see why people do become fanatics though - its hard not to become one myself.

A couple of my friends had one so I went to the dealer and checked it out. I also read up on it and found that it was a good bike for a beginner and reasonably priced. I did buy a used one which I am very happy about.
