Engine problems ??

I've noticed my bike having a tough time to crank up and it's getting to the point where black smoke will spew everywhere. I have checked the oil filter and stuff. I even checked the carburetor and it seems to help none. I don't know if the carburetor is supplying too much gas into the intake (like there is restricted air flow...maybe clogged air filter ?) or probably the float isn't working properly.Do you guys think i should take it to the service station or is this easily fixable without spending huge bucks over there. What do you all think about this ?

First off, how many miles since the last tune up? Assuming you are under 1000 km's, my guess is an airfilter that has been over oiled. I once had chipmunks build a nest in a bike airbox that only sat overnight.

Black smoke is burning oil. Somewhere oil is getting into the mixture. Hard cranking is usually fuel air mixture. So I would agree check the filter and filter flow intake as well. Also the stack.
