    750-cc CTX?

I might at some point but not right away. I was planning to test out the NC 750 whenever it finally shows up at my dealer just check out the new motor and updated transmission. However, I really like the way I have my bike setup. The nice thing about having a CTX750 available would be that all...

    First bike picture 2018

I'm about 6' 2" and have a 32" inseam. When I first got my bike I put a 20" Madstad windshield on it which turned out to be too short. However, I waited before replacing it since I knew I was going to be putting a Corbin seat on it and wasn't sure the 22" was going to be enough or if I was...

New guy from St Louis MO

Welcome to the forum. I live about 33 miles northeast to St. Louis so maybe we'll past each other when I'm over across the river. There are a lot of great roads to ride in Missouri.

    Who rode today?

I got to ride a little on Sunday, but it’s freezing rain last night, this morning and this evening. So, it will be a little while before next time.

corbin seat and back rest 700D

I have the Corbin standard of high seat. I've got about 10000 miles on it and I like it a lot. I just added the back rest and was able to take it out for a ride with it today. I believe it is going to work out just fine. Best of luck with your ride.

MadStad farkles for the N model

I installed the Honda sub harness and connected to that. The other leads from the Garmin wiring harness such as the USB, microphone, and audio connections I just ran into the compartment under the seat in case I want to use them later. I connect my headset to the Garmin using Bluetooth.

MadStad farkles for the N model

You're right about the crossbar being a great place to mount a GPS.

    Let's see your large saddlebags

Your right, you would have to go with the Hepco and Becker rear luggage rack. That's the rack you see in the pictures I posted. It's made to allow the side carrier to be take on and off without removing the rear rack. The H&B back rack comes with a set of inner supports, but if you using it...

    Let's see your large saddlebags

Dave, The Hepco and Becker journey 42L boxes interior measurements are 19.75” across the top and 18.5” across the bottom. The side of the box that mounts to the bike is 6.75” deep and the lid is 4.5” deep for a total of 11.25 inches. The box Height is 12.5” at the side which is the lowest...

    Let's see your large saddlebags

I went with the Hepco and Becker 42 litter Journey bags. When I got them they seemed big enough that I decided to forego a top box for now and install a back rack and sissy bar instead. If I need a little extra I can strap a soft bag on the back rack and the sissy bar gives me a good place to...

    Centerstand

I had loosen and turn the muffler clamp in order the hing the spring holder. Although I moved it back after I attached the spring. After it is installed, the spring holder manages to just clear the bolts on the muffler clamp.

Has anyone installed Rox Risers on CTX700N with Madstad Windshield?

I have a Corbin standard seat on my bike, which really makes the bike a pleasure to ride. However would be perfect if I could bring the bars up and back a little. I've been looking at the Rox risers. I'm thinking they would work with the Madstad windshield mount if I mounded them on the...

    Thoughts

I like your photo work, nice job. My excuse for buying my motor cycle was that it was an economical way to find interesting places to photograph here in Illinois. Of course that was nonsense, but it sounded good. I’m about 33 mile north east of St. Louis, so there must be about 175 miles of...

    Center Stand

There is a rubber button on a metal stopper tab that contacts the shock base and that button does snap up and hit that base when you retract the stand from the down position. You don't have to worry about wearing the paint off the bottom of the shock, it isn't painted. What your seeing is a...
