This was one of the reasons I was hesitant at first to get mine. I too like to know how hot to engine is at all times and I would really like to know why honda hadn't included it.
Gas will continue rising in price and it is something that we all have to get used to. Eventually we will run out of fuel and will have to find a different means to run our engines!

I would love to have my kids grow up loving bikes. Going on a long, cross-country, ride with my kids is a dream of mine and I can't wait to see if it will ever happen. The issue about safety does arise but I will make sure they are ready before they ever hit the road!
I took some beginners classes before purchasing my bike, I plan on taking some advanced classes before I go on any long rides. The classes I went to were really informative and I expect more advanced classes to be the same!
I would like to say that I do wear all of the recommended safety equipment, but I don't. I always wear long pants to avoid any burns but I rarely wear a helmet. In the future I think I will be more safe, but for now I'm young and don't like all of the gear.
