I grew up in Lubbock TX and i'm familiar with Galveston and unfortunately the Texas drivers. I really suggesting considering the CTX700 like everyone is saying, You cant be to careful when it comes to your bike and Texas is a mean roadway. Good luck with any decision that you do make :)

Yea wow! That really did stick with you haha. I get what you mean about that retro feel. I agree 100%. I just wish they were strong and sturdy like the old scooters.
There never going to be %100 reliable, no bike is. There will always be risks of malfunctions or defects, but electric bikes will work if you have the power to charge them and it actually charges. Besides that there great for saving money.
I'm gonna go with the red or black version. I want to get a custom color like Purple but i cant afford the custom paint. I'm definitely leaning toward red.
